IS EXTREME USEFUL?
IS EXTREME USEFUL?
To begin with, let's find out what to call a superpower. Usually, this term defines actions, the performance of which requires going beyond human physical limitations.
At the same time, it is important to understand that our body cannot go beyond its limitations. That is, when someone exerts extra effort, he/she irreversibly burns the body's resources. And the consequences of such "burning" will be irreversible.
For example, we recently wrote about a patient who grinded his teeth because of too hard training in the gym. He clenched his jaws excessively from tension, and the result was not long in comingš«£
There are indeed situations in life when such actions are necessary. But all these situations are usually associated with danger to life. That is, superpowers make sense when you need to sacrifice a portion of your health in order to save your life or the lives of loved ones.
In all other cases, force majeure, although it may contribute to the achievement of the desired result in the short term, in the long term will most likely bring more harm than good.
This does not mean that you should sit on the couch and spit at the ceiling. No. Just so you don't do it, try to listen to your body's signals. And if you feel that you are approaching the limit of possibilities - slow down. This will only make you feel better.
